An ancient Hebraic model for studying the Bible known as the “Beit Midrash” is explained in this message. Attached to every synagogue is a place called the “Beit Midrash,” which means house of study or investigation. In this model we learn how to learn together, and how to stir, spur and sharpen each other. We learn how “iron sharpening iron” (Prov. 27:17) actually works, and how much fun it is to study the Word of God in this way.
